Training Routine: On the Road

Vacation!
Time to relax, kick back, and enjoy the simple things in life.
The down side is that vacations come with poor nutritional choices and no motivation to exercise. Often times we see trainees come back from vacation completely de-conditioned and un-motivated to workout. The easiest way to combat this is to exercise while on the road (this applies to work trips as well). It doesn’t take much to maintain conditioning and strength while away; short 10-15min workouts in the morning done at the hotel (in the room or in their workout area) or at a near by park/beach will be more then enough.
The goal is to choose workouts that can be done without any equipment (except for a jump rope which can easily be taken with).
The following workouts are body weight and cardio focused (remember that strength can be built/maintained without barbells, dumbbells, or machine weights).

There is no excuse to not exercise while on vacation or a work trip. The only thing that stands in the way is YOU.
